Episode 10: Malice + Mirage = Michelle

It's been 15 work days since Peterborough MP Michelle Ferreri's House of Commons and Committee video clip factory has been prorogued. Taxpayers spend $4,000/day in funding her salary & expenses, costing us just under $2 million as of September 2024.

What has our Riding gotten from her $60,000 in costs since prorogation?      

Lots of social media posts, averaging 12-15 day. 

With her local shunning continuing, for months and months now, she's been invited to 1 event. Video-ing a summary of this event, instead of using this opportunity to ask business leaders, "How can I help?", she asked, "What can you tell me about why Trudeau is bad?"

This is our MP. She's an expensive mirage filled with malice, not capable of doing the work of an MP. 

Our Riding progresses without her. As reported this week

✅opioid deaths in our Riding are down thanks to the efforts and strategies of a collective of local Riding leaders, contrary to Michelle's platform. Making the rounds again from this past summer, you can read one Constituent mom's story of how our MP Michelle Ferreri betrayed her and her son after his death from an overdose.

✅The restaurant industry has benefitted from the GST holiday, most of which are small, independent businesses, contrary to Michelle's platform.

Meanwhile, Poilievre declared yesterday, in support of Trump's Executive Order, that there are "only 2 genders that [he's] aware of". Since Michelle has never voted independently of Poilievre, nor attended Riding Pride events in the last 2 years, rest assured that she, and a Conservative majority in the next election, will pursue this stance.

There is hope. EKOS Research is the first polling company, and for the 2nd time this month, to show the fall of Conservative fortunes in the last 3 weeks. 338 also shows Michelle's support, for the first time, dropping.

We have 8 weeks to go till prorogation ends, which will cost taxpayers $160,000+ in Michelle's salary and expenses. What will she accomplish for this Riding?  Nothing.

Michelle is a mirage MP filled with malice. Over the last 3 years, she has proven herself incapable of transitioning from a v-logger wannabe influencer to an MP doing the hard work for Constituents and this Riding. She belongs on the Conservative's marketing team, not in a seat in the Chamber.

Kick her to the curb Peterborough. She is not worth the cost.
