Has Michelle Ferreri always been such a liar? Childhood? As a teenager? Friendships? Adulthood?

Has Michelle Ferreri always been such a follower? Following the dictates of Her Leaders Jenni Byrne and Pierre Poilievre, knowing she's being watched by the boys in short pants to make sure she's delivering the message? And rewarded for her compliance with the camera seat behind Pierre Poilievre in the House of Commons and then given air time.

On the day of our Riding's $10.6 million Housing Accelerator Fund celebration, Ferreri could be found 4 blocks away in her car doing her usual Carpool Caricature rant, her 10th such rant since prorogation, this time about "drug kingpins". Either she wasn't invited to the announcement, she wasn't allowed to attend or she decided not to attend. After her very petty and public spat with a the Federal Housing Minister and a local journalist.  Whatever the reasons, an MP from another Riding had to come to Peterborough to do her job. How is this working on our behalf?

She's a video content creator for the Conservative Party of Canada, not an MP for Peterborough.

And I don't believe Michelle Ferreri has hit rock bottom yet. With Liberal-positive polls, a pending Leadership change and the political landscape completely altered since Trump's inauguration, along with a thinly-veiled white supremacy Canada First Conservative rally happening next week, we can expect more of the same from our MP.

There are big questions being asked in this election and the foundational question to all of them is our character as a country. Are we what the Conservatives and Michelle Ferreri are peddling - a country who stokes hate, lies, division, selfishness, saying and doing anything for power, a country who attacks opponents at every level instead of finding common ground- or are we not?

She's cost us $2 million in salary and expenses as of September 2024, $4,000 a day, $100,000 since prorogation! Her job, the first substantive one since 2014 when she was allegedly "let go" from our local TV station, is on the line. 

Public criticism is growing. Add your voice, with your friends and relatives and on whichever platform you frequent.

And brace yourselves. Its going to be ugly.
