This will be a short column because really, what more is there to say about Peterborough MP Michelle Ferreri, beyond her hatred of all things Liberal, woke, Trudeau, Carney? We just have to live through her increasingly desperate attempts at keeping attention on herself and the Conservative Party amidst Poilievre's spectacular fall in the polls, a 30 point lead gone in just a month.   EKOS Research has another set of polling numbers being made public in a few hours, the gist of which he hinted at last night: Well, Michelle is not having it and launched into a 6 minute car rant video a few days ago, which starts off like this: Struggling for relevance in a Party swamped by sinking numbers, screeching messaging that's no longer resonating with the public, she's been given no discernable role at this period in time. Struggling for attention from her leadership cabal, both front and backroom, where behind closed doors, they're trying to pivot their messaging and the public ...

Except they stayed (put on hold) the drug charges, as pointed out by many others, and are pursuing a murder charge instead of the drug charges, the former more likely to be successful. "Homeless people are criminals"!  "No one will tell me what to do with my uterus!", then votes No on budget items and Status of Women Committee report recommendations that shows us she's just fine with telling everyone else what to do with their uterus. "I'm a mother to 6 children" "I attended Trent University on a full scholarship" "I was an archaeologist in Belize" "I'm vaccinated" "I am your voice in Ottawa, not Ottawa's voice in Peterborough" "Parents are trafficking their kids for food!" Truth-twisting on the daily, cherry picking headlines and statistics to suit the Conservative's latest narrative. And on and on, and on, and on. Has Michelle Ferreri always been such a liar? Childhood? As a teenager? ...

Peterborough MP Michelle Ferreri's Electoral District Association, the Peterborough-Kawartha Conservatives (@pktories) held their AGM on Saturday, Feb 1, 2024 at the Lakefield Legion Branch 77. Guest speaker was Durham Conservative MP Jamil Jivani, the candidate parachuted in to vie for former Conservative Leader Erin O'Toole's vacated seat. You may remember the "Trudeaus are Marxists" video. Our MP, as she has done numerous times in many provinces, travelled to Durham in the fall of 2023 to canvass on behalf of Jamil Jivani and Pierre Poilievre. The widely shared video was set up and filmed by our MP Ferreri, heard here coercing this senior into speaking.  MP Jivani has expressed strong Christian nationalism views as well as views against "woke education". Here is the petition he's sponsoring to "Protect Christian Canada", a petition that has been endorsed by US VP JD Vance. I'm not sure if I'm reading veiled "parental rights...
